  The trucker store is better than a Loves or Pilot. The snack store is typical of those no in the region, meaning the have cheese and beef sticks in addition to soda, chips, and candy. The McDonald's is a McDonald's. The ice cream store is good but not cheap. I got a dinner buffet on Friday night which included a prime rib, $16. Their were 3 very small pieces of prime rib, combined smaller than my hand. I watched the buffet server refill several salad bar items and wipe down the whole buffet (about 15 mins) before telling me "I'll cut some more". There was about a 1/4 PR sitting there so I told her "I'll just take that" she told me "no you won't". Apparently, I will. Very nice travel plaza, but priced for the tourist, not the truckdriver. It does have a bar but again it is pricey.

  I ate in the sit down restaurant, it has choices that are not part of the Petro chain. Ordered the brisket sandwich and asked for the pickled veggies rather than endless fries. Got mixed veggies, the waitress never had anyone ask for pickled veggies before. Was hoping for something like you might find in the appetizer selection in a Wisconsin supper club. Waitress also didn't bring any cole slaw. The meat was tasty, open fire cooked on site. I could have used a larger sandwich for the price. The squeeze bottles of sauces had crusty nozzles.
